How to add a new user in Vista?

People who have recently upgraded from Windows XP or much older Windows 98 to the Vista operating system by Microsoft often find themselves struggling to do even the basic things that they could manage easily on the older versions. One such problem is How to Add a New User in Vista. Well here is a short-cut step by step guide for you.

a) Assuming that you have an administrator account, click on the Windows logo in the lower left corner of the screen.

b) Right above your current account’s name, there shall be a picture of the account. Click on it.

c) The second last option in the screen that would pop up would be Manage Another Account. Click on it.

d) You shall be taken to a screen that displays all the accounts that are already there on your computer. In most probability, it would only display your account. Anyhow, click on the option stating ‘Create a New Account’.

e) You are taken to the place where you have to type the name of the account and decide what amount of privilege you want to give to the account. Decide very smartly how much control should this other person should have on your computer and choose between Standard and Administrator accounts.

Click on Create Account and you are done!
